Single Saber

The single saber: an elegant weapon

Double Saber

Initiates have built a solid foundation in the basics of the Single Saber system, and will continue to develop their understanding of flow, timing and range in duels.

 

Initiates will gain proficiency in the following areas:

  • Advanced strikes and attack combinations

  • Advanced footwork for attacks and evasion

  • Advanced combat tactics and strategy

  • Basic Double Saber techniques

  • Basic Saberstaff techniques

Initiates will need to attend a minimum of X months of training before they can attend grading and advance to the next level.

Saberstaff

Warrior-rank combatants are highly proficient in advanced Single Saber techniques and duelling, and will develop their mastery of Double Saber and Saberstaff combat.

 

Warriors will gain proficiency in the following areas:

  • Thrusting attacks and combinations

  • Close quarter footwork for attacks and evasion

  • Weapon specific combat strategy

  • Advanced Double Saber combat

  • Advanced Saberstaff combat
